Privacy Policy

Ilshin Autoclave Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect the personal information of data subjects and to promptly and smoothly handle any related grievances.

Article 1 (Items, Purpose, and Retention Period of Personal Information)

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for any purpose other than the following. If the purpose of use changes, necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, will be implemented. Furthermore, the Company processes and retains personal information within the personal information retention and use period prescribed by law or the period agreed upon by the data subject at the time of collection.

Article 2 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives, and How to Exercise Them)

  1. Data subjects may exercise their rights to access, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information at any time.
  2. The exercise of rights pursuant to Paragraph 1 may be made in writing, via email, or by FAX in accordance with Article 41, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and the Company will take action without delay.
  3. Rights may be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent. In this case, a power of attorney must be submitted in the format prescribed in Attachment No. 11 of the “Notice on Personal Information Processing Methods (No. 2020-7).”
  4. Requests to access or suspend the processing of personal information may be restricted in accordance with Article 35, Paragraph 4 and Article 37, Paragraph 2 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
  5. Requests for the correction or deletion of personal information cannot be fulfilled if the personal information is explicitly required to be collected by other laws and regulations.
  6. The Company shall verify whether the person making the request (for access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing) is the data subject themselves or a legitimate representative.

Article 3 (Destruction of Personal Information)

The Company shall destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as upon the expiration of the retention period or the achievement of the processing purpose.

  1. Destruction Procedure:
    • The Company identifies the personal information for which the cause of destruction has occurred and destroys it with the approval of the Privacy Officer.
  2. Destruction Method:
    • Electronic files: Destroyed in a manner that ensures the records cannot be reproduced or recovered.
    • Hard copies (Paper): Shredded or incinerated.

Article 4 (Measures to Ensure the Safety of Personal Information)

The Company takes the following measures to ensure the safety and security of personal information:

  1. Administrative Measures: Minimizing the number of personnel handling personal information and conducting regular privacy training.
  2. Technical Measures: Managing access rights to personal information processing systems and installing security software.
  3. Physical Measures: Implementing access control for data storage rooms and related facilities.

Article 5 (Privacy Officer)

The Company has designated a Privacy Officer to oversee personal information processing and to handle grievances from data subjects. Data subjects may contact the Privacy Officer regarding any privacy-related inquiries or issues arising from the use of the Company’s services.

Article 6 (Remedies for Infringement of Rights and Interests)

Data subjects may apply for dispute resolution or consultation with the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee or the Personal Information Infringement Reporting Center of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) to receive remedies for personal information infringement. Article 7 (Amendment to the Privacy Policy)

This Privacy Policy shall take effect on December 20, 2024.
