Overview

Supercritical fluids possess unique physical and chemical properties that distinguish them from conventional liquids or gases, and the technology utilizing these fluids is referred to as "Supercritical Technology." Exhibiting characteristics intermediate between those of a gas and a liquid, these fluids allow for rapid modulation of properties through slight adjustments in temperature and pressure without undergoing a phase transition.
Due to the absence of surface tension, supercritical fluids easily penetrate into complex microporous structures. They are characterized by excellent diffusivity, high mass transfer rates, low viscosity, and powerful solvating capabilities, making them an essential tool for advanced industrial processes.
